April is National Move More Month, encouraging all of us to move more and get our 10,000 steps and more everyday.
But have you ever done a workout for your face?
Just like working out your body muscles to keep you feeling youthful, working out your facial muscles is critical to the tightening and toning of your skin, giving you taut, smooth, and youthful looking skin. Working out your facial muscles can look like manually using pressure point release and light lymphatic drainage facial massage to increase oxygen and blood flow while reducing puffiness. These techniques also stimulate collagen production, creating radiant glowing skin.
Here are 4 daily steps to move those facial muscles:
1.Gently cleanse your face using small circular movements
2. Spray on toner followed by a patting motion to stimulate blood flow
3. Apply facial oil or moisturizer and follow with applying pressure under brow, cheek and jaw bones
4. Use a gua sha stone or jade roller once per week to flush out toxins and release neck and facial tension
